Thursday, April 15, 2010   Veteran NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series driver Michael Iacono will be at the controls of the Nitro Fish '87 Chevrolet Camaro at the SummitRacing.com NHRA Nationals.   “Michael is a great guy and a top-notch Sportsman driver,” said Nitro Fish owner Kenny Koretsky. "We are pleased to have him racing with us. He and my youngest son, Kyle ('Kid Chaos'), have been working together for a year.” Kyle drove Iacono’s Super Comp car last year in his Lucas Oil debut, and the two will be teammates this season.   “It’s great,” said Iacono, of Wading River, N.Y. “I’ve been driving for 10 years, and this is the first time anyone has ever paid me to race.” Kyle will make his first 2010 appearance at the Lucas Oil event at Atco, N.J., April 30-May 2.

Michael Iacono, 2007 NHRA Stock World Champion. Michael at the NHRA Banquet awards ceremony at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in downtown Los Angeles.     Michael, in his '69 Cobra Jet Mustang that helped him win the NHRA Stock World Championship.     Michael brings home the Super Stock Championship at the 2007 Jegs Allstar Race in Chicago.       Michael wins the Stock Championship at the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Southern Nationals Atlanta, GA     Michael's new comp ride is a 2005 Chevy Caviler. Michael will run D/SM at selective races for the 2007 season. Look for Michael to run a full season in comp for the 2008 season
